One Big & Busy Weekend

This weekend was quite busy around our house. We always decorate for Christmas the weekend after Thanksgiving. So, Friday we pulled all the decorations out & got started. Matt has always wanted a train to go around the bottom of the Christmas tree, so this year I gave in & we got one. Let me tell you. . . Wyatt LOVES it! He had the best time helping his daddy put the train together & get everything up & running. What a blast that has been. The train was also a nice distraction so we could get the decorations out & up before Mr. curiosity started digging through it all.











On Saturday, I took Wyatt over to Grammie & Papa's house to play. Uncle Greg is in town this week, so he too got to have fun playing with Wyatt. Wyatt helped Papa build, he played with playdough teaching Papa & Uncle Greg how to cut things & roll the playdough, he was quite the artist with his Uncle, and finally built more things with Legos. So very busy!



























Last, but not least, our biggest accomplishment this weekend has been transitioning Wyatt from pull-ups to BIG BOY UNDERPANTS!!! YEA!!!! Wyatt picked out several different pairs of underpants with Thomas, Cars and Handy Manny on them. Yea for character underpants for which Wyatt has an obession with. Can't get much better than Mater on your behind! Wyatt has been quite successful in this new adventure which is bittersweet. I am so excited that he is really taking to being a BIG boy wearing big boy underpants, but sad too that my baby boy is growing up so fast. I love seeing the sense of accomplishment when we put up a star after a successful potty. The things that make this Momma proud! ;)

I attempted to get a picture of Wyatt with his new underpants, however, each time I asked him to show them to me & smile he would turn around & show me the backside. So, here's a little hiney shot! Too cute!
