I just have take a moment to brag about my little man! We transitioned Wyatt from Pull Ups 3 weeks ago (which he treated like diapers and could have cared less if they were full unless we were time voiding every hour). And, I must say we have had complete SUCCESS! Wyatt is potty trained! Yea! He tells us he has to "go potty" routinely which is super nice compared to timed voiding. (For those of you who aren't familiar with timed voiding, that is when you take them every hour to at least try to go potty. A.k.a. potty training the parent.) Anyway, we are completely done with Pull ups both day, nap and night! We've only had a handful of accidents that were usually due to lack of access to the bathroom, i.e. being stuck in the car in Christmas traffic. Of course I have probably just jinxed myself by braging about Wyatt, but oh well! I am definately prepared for more accidents. They will come. We will just plan on continuing down this road of potty trained success.
I must say I am completely blown away that by 2 1/2 years old my baby has grown up so much. Putting away the diapers and now the Pull ups in such a huge step towards independence and being the BIG boy that he is. Don't know if I'm doing things right, but somehow, God blessed me with this little man without a manual and we are just thriving and rocking along.
Sorry if you are annoyed with my braging, but every mom must have her moments when she sits back and thinks "Yes, by the grace of God I must have done something right."
