Fun Fun in the Texas Sun!
Over the week of July 4th we traveled down to Texas to visit with our family down there. We truly had a relaxing week. We enjoyed spending time hanging out, playing games, coloring, swimming, and just being together. Our little Texas boy really had fun being the center of attention.
Cici & Grumps bought Wyatt the game Hungry, Hungry Hippos. Everyone became a kid again playing this game. It was quite fun.
Nathan brought over his Wii to play at the house. Wyatt was even able to get into the game attempting to play tennis. I don't think we are quite ready for one at our house, but soon. (Don't worry, honey, we will get one soon. :))
Cici took Wyatt toy shopping one day after visiting with GiGi. Wyatt picked out this leaf blower which of course makes noise. He had a blast running around the house torturing the dog with it. Gotta love it!
We spent down time coloring with the Crayola paints.
Here is our little Texas boy.
On July 4th, Cici, Grandma Nina, and I took Wyatt downtown to the 4th of July parade. Wyatt enjoyed sitting in the back of Grumps' truck and watching all the floats, dancers, and different vehicles go by as some planes circled around in the sky. It was hot, but there was a breeze and the parade only lasted about 30 minutes or so.
That evening we spent down at Grandma Nina's hanging out, grilling out, and enjoying yummy summer food. Wyatt is loving Cici's iphone. He had a blast playing games on it.
Wyatt got a hold of my camera and took a TON of pics of everyone. Here are just a few of those that didn't have a finger shadow in them or weren't too blurry. He just gets a kick out of taking pictures. Next time I will do better about having him use HIS camera as mine did get a bit dinged up with a drop or two.

On our way out of town after a fun week, we stopped by the nursing home to give Gigi a goodbye kiss. Wyatt just brings such a smile to her face as he is such a mini me of Matt bringing back wonderful memories for Grandma of when she took care of Matt and Jordan at this age. It is fun to see the two of them interact.
Overall, we had a wonderful week and were sad to go. But, back to reality we traveled. We will miss everyone and look forward to seeing them all again soon!
