Update on Baby & Our Cheese Head

We went for our 12 week ultrasound Friday. The baby is looking great! Other than the hormone surge making me feel a little dizzy this week, everything is going well. I am still ready to have my energy back though. This week I totally FEEL pregnant. The clothes are getting tighter, I feel a bump starting to grow. It is crazy. It didn't feel this way when I was prego with Wyatt until about 16 wks. We go back near the end of October for another appointment. Right before Thanksgiving we will end the boy/girl debate & find out the sex. We are in great anticipation of the appointment. I'm sure it will be here before we know it!
12 week ultrasound
Wyatt has been stuck in the house for over a week straight due to all the rain we have been having. So, . . . we have had to entertain him in more creative ways. What a goofy boy!

This weekend my mom helped me out by having Wyatt spend the night so I could have a date with Matt and sleep in on Saturday. It is great that he loves going over there & has an absolute blast while he is there. When she brought him home Saturday he told us all about his fun. Too cute. After a quick lunch we had to take Wyatt for his flu shot. Yuck! However, Wyatt is AWESOME!! He did not even flinch or cry as he got his shot!!! He did better than some 8 year olds I know. He really is an amazing little boy! Grammie brought over an cute green froggie umbrella as a treat for being such a trooper. He LOVES it!!

Finally, here is our little cheese head. Really fitting since he LOVES to eat cheese, and can now open the fridge to help himself!! Also fitting is his "cheesy grin" that he now thinks is so cute for pictures. Gotta love this cheese!!
Hope everyone has a great week. We are praying and thinking about our family is TX. Grumps (Matt's dad) had surgery Wed & unexpectedly had to go to the hospital Friday night after having a seizure. Hopefully he has a better week & Sydney has a less eventful week. GiGi (Matt's 102 yr great grandma) is growing weaker as the weeks pass. We are praying for a smooth transition into a better place & less suffering for her.
