Halloween Fun

We have had a super fun week of Halloween here. Wyatt most definitely understood the concept this year, and was absolutely ADORABLE going to trick-or-treat. Love it!

At the beginning of the week Wyatt received a Halloween care package from CiCi and Grumps filled with all sorts of fun, a monster blanket, CANDY, activity books, puzzles, CANDY, a funny mug toy, books to read, and more CANDY! Here are a few pics of him enjoying his package.

On Thursday night, we got out our pumpkins for carving. Wyatt is quite grossed out by the feel on the pumpkin "guts". His favorite part is lighting them up afterwards and of course, blowing out the candles when we are done. Hmmm, pyro?
Halloween night our little Curious George got all dressed up. Amazingly he ate dinner before going out to get CANDY! We had fun taking him out to trick-or-treat. It was the most precious thing hearing him say "trick-or-treat" and the unprompted "thank you!" after getting his treats. So sweet! After a few houses he felt like he had enough candy and was ready to go home. My parents came over to answer our door while we took Wyatt out, and after trick-or-treating took Wyatt to their house to spend the night. It was such a HUGE help to me, since I have not been feeling great. Wyatt LOVES spending the night and being spoiled by his Grammie & Papa!

In prego news, we still don't know what sex the baby is. We are scheduled for our big ultrasound on November 20th! A fun Thanksgiving treat! I have had some pretty severe nausea and vomiting. We tried a new treatment being a Zofran pump that delivers the medicine continuously through a subcutaneous port. Well, after five days it became pretty apparent that my body could not handle it. Stinks, cause the med was actually working. So we have moved on to a different plan, and I am now taking a higher dose of zofran orally and more frequently. Keep your fingers crossed that it works. We are praying that this subsides, but SO very thankful that the baby continues to do so well despite my lack of weight gain.
