Decorating Fun at Grammie & Papa's House

This weekend Wyatt went to spend the night with Grammie and Papa. They were all set to put up their Christmas tree. Wyatt was quite the helper in decorating. Grammie has an eclectic assortment of ornaments, many of which are not breakable :) Wyatt helped hang some ornaments delicately while other he actually got to throw onto the tree. He LOVED that part. Here are a few pics of our little elf decorating the tree.

On Saturday, Grammie and Wyatt went shopping and bough a gingerbread house kit. They spent the morning putting it together so it could dry while he napped. After naptime, Mommy got to come over to enjoy watching Wyatt decorate the cottage. At first he wasn't interested, but once everyone got to decorating he jumped in on the action. He wanted to make sure everyone was involved in creating his cottage. It turned out mighty cute!

I love the holidays. I think I love them even more now that we have Wyatt. It makes us all feel like a child again to watch all the wonders and joys of the holiday season through his eyes!
