TenneSea 2010!!!

This weekend has been CRAZY with rain and flooding all around Nashville and surrounding area. It started on Saturday and got WAY crazy today with wave after wave of heavy, heavy storms. The streets all around town were flooded out. Many, many people have lost everything. Many, many people have had to be rescued by boat from their homes. Bridges have washed out. Interstates have shut down completely. Thousands of people have been without power all day and not able to get power back til hopefully tomorrow.

This is the car dealership down the road from us.

This is Ensworth High down Hwy 100 close to us.

So as the streets have became rivers and lakes all around us, we have thankfully remained dry, safe in our house and with power amazingly. We are so thankful as SO many people are left with nothing. Thankfully we have had the luxury of being stir crazy with two kiddos, so how have we filled our time. . .

We played.

We loved on each other.

We made popcorn.

Watched some movies.

And watched all the devastation on TV praying for our friends safety and praising the Lord for our safety. Please keep all the people who have lost so much this weekend in your prayers! It is going to take a VERY long time for recovery in this area.
