This week was eventful with a beautiful blanket of snow which kept the boys out of school until Friday. So, what better than to play in the snow. So after I got home from work we bundled the boys up and went outside to play. This was Walker's first time to actually get down in the snow. He really didn't know what to think. He could barely move in his snow suit which tickled us because it reminded us of the movie, the Christmas Story. Wyatt and daddy had a blast pounding each other with snowballs and building a mighty snow tower. We had a hard time getting Wyatt to come back inside even though he was freezing. He was just having too much fun.

This weekend we decided to tackle our first
DIY project for the new house. The house had just been painted when we bought it, however, they neglected to paint the bathroom in the neutral tone they had painted the rest of the house. Instead, the previous owners left the half bath a maroon color. Not my choice. So, after choosing a new tone, removing the mirror and old light fixture, I set to work repainting. Here is a before pic of the maroon color. (Matt had removed the mirror already).

Two coats of primer and a coat of light blue later, new mirror and light fixture, and ta-
da! A bright new half bath. Much better!

Finally, our sweet babe turns 10 months tomorrow! Unreal! I can't believe how much he has grown and how mobile he is now. Here he is playing in Wyatt's clubhouse.

Now, off to plan my next
DIY project. :)
