Yep, it is official. . . our sweet lil guy is growing up just a smidge to fast for this momma. We went to the doctor's on Friday for his 18 month check up and he is quite the big lil man. He weighed in at 30lbs with a whopping height of 36 inches! Whew! Well, with each well visit comes slew of anticipatory guidance which included the advice of taking him out of the crib before he goes flying out breaking something or sustaining a head injury. How this hasn't happened yet. . . well, the good Lord only knows.
We have spent the weekend working hard to transition him into the toddler bed. (Needless to say, I am EXHAUSTED.) It has been a process :-/ Today we made it official by taking down the crib and putting it away. Wyatt was such a big helper and Walker enjoyed watching every step along the way.
Here is our sweet toddler riding his rocking horse. You would have thought it was a buckin' bronco the way he was going back and forth. To say he does things with the full zest of life would be an understatement. Ha Ha!
The days of infancy are ending. Tears. . . Off into the full on adventure of toddlerhood we go! Should be one eventful ride! (As I typed this, Walker proceeded to pull a glass of milk off the kitchen counter, spilling it all over the floor. Best part. . . he put himself in timeout. Hilarious!)
