Thanksgiving followed by Christmas Decorating

We had a great Thanksgiving with family at Grammie and Papa's house this year. You can tell I am out of my norm in that I totally forgot my camera and only took one pic of Grand reading a story to Walker. I'm going to have to get back to my normal pic taking routine so we don't keep missing these sweet photo ops. Here are two pics of my sweet Thanksgiving blessings in their fall tshirts before heading over to Grammie and Papa's house. Aren't they cute?!
The one and only pic I got of Grand reading to Walker. Sweet! One of my fav memories is my grandmother reading me stories.
We spent these past few days getting our house all festive for Christmas. Last year we moved a week before Christmas, so the decor was that which we quickly moved from the previous house. This year, I was able to really focus on starting to decorate this house special for the holiday season. The boys had so much fun helping getting the decorations up. We have 3 christmas trees which all turned out great.
The stockings hung up. They are down temporarily as I am fearing of Walker pulling them off with the holders and all. That could be disasterous.
Our nativity fit perfect on our beautiful built-ins.
The finished tree downstairs. It was perfect as when we finished, Walker climbed up on the step stool, flipped off the lights and shouted "Ta-da" pointing to the tree. PRICELESS!!
We decorated the outside of the house too. Garland aroud the door, a lighted wreath hanging, and wreaths on all the upper windows. The cars have been outfitted too with the reindeer attire.
Our elf Scout has arrived from the North Pole to monitor the boys and report to Santa each evening. The boys are excited to have Scout around. Christmas will be here before we know it, so our plan. . . to enjoy this holiday season and make fun memories with our family. :)
