This past week we had fun as
CiCi got to visit us from Texas. It is always so great to have her travel to come see us and play, play, play with the boys. She bought Wyatt a Nook Color for Christmas and he is totally engrossed in it. It is proving to be a popular device addition to our family. (We are all a little electronically spoiled. :)

Walker keeps us all entertained and busy as usually. One night we were trying to get him to chill out, so
CiCi and Walker started playing songs on the laptop. It was a hoot to watch Walker bob along.

We roasted
marshmallows in the fireplace for
smores after dinner one night. The boys always love doing this and we enjoy the tasty treats.

Everyone had fun playing with all the new Christmas toys and just spending time together.

I gave Matt a new
fire pit for Christmas, so one night we had to test it out and roast
hot dogs and
marshmallows on it. It was a bit chilly outside, but the food was worth it. It will be awesome in the spring and summer for patio nights.

Wyatt has talked about taking
CiCi "rolling ball" all week long. So on Friday we all headed out to the bowling ally. We played on the small lanes so that all kids big and small could play. Everyone had a blast. Wyatt loves "rolling ball" and does a pretty good job at it too. Walker got in on the action as there are balls involved.
Walker would roll the ball and squat down to watch it go. As it would near the pins, he would pop up and clap. Such a hoot he is!

Our last night together we went out for a yummy pizza dinner at Mellow Mushroom. The boys were entertained by a balloon artist making Wyatt a poodle and Walker a monkey which he proceeded to bite and pop within about 2 minutes of getting it. He exclaimed so proudly, "I bite it!" and laughed hysterically. He is a MESS!!! We came home and the boys painted a birdhouse which then was followed by
CiCi giving the boys a much needed bath to remove the paint that landed on them.

We really had a fun time seeing
CiCi. It was a great way to close out the 2011 year. We look forward to seeing what 2012 has in store with new adventures! Happy New Year!!
