Baseball and Playtime

We have been busy, busy with baseball and a lot of outdoor playtime at our house.  Wyatt has started off a great season of baseball, and we have enjoyed going to his games and cheering him on.  He is doing great!

Waiting on 3rd base so he came run home.
The boys have had a blast playing outside while Matt was finishing the border around the play area.  Here is a glimpse of them just being silly.

Saturday our playmulch was delivered.  Walker was THRILLED to have a BIG TRUCK in our very own driveway.  It really made his day.  He came running into the house so excited to tell me all about the truck.  Here is the playarea ready for mulch.
And here is the BIG pile of mulch that was delivered.
Matt and both boys worked taking it to the back yard.
And here is the completed project.  It is FABULOUS!  It really has added a so much to our back yard and made it a boys play paradise.
Grammie and Papa came by to see our newly revamped playarea.  The boys had to show off their baseball skills for them.
 Practicing a few swings.
Papa had an ankle replacement a little over a week ago.  It was good for him to get out of the house and come over to see the boys enjoying the awesome playset he and Grammie bought for them.  Walker was quite intrigued with Papa's special scooter.
We are lining up for another full week of baseball and playtime.  I am happy to say I am now halfway through my doctoral program.  I have two weeks off until the summer semester starts and I am so excited to have some time free from school work.  I have a project planned for Matt to build a sitting area around out patio so we can sit outside and enjoy watching the boys play.  Hope everyone had a great weekend.  We sure did!
