It feels like I was just posting about Christmas and New Years. January has come and gone and this year has been an exceptionally cold one. We have had record lows this month. Last Friday I was home with our sweet three and it was exceptionally cold. So I did what anyone would do, I started a toasty fire. It was great being able to snuggle up with the kids, watching a movie and drinking hot chocolate.
On Saturdays Walker has been going to soccer classes to learn and play soccer. It is a blast for him as well as great outlet for all of his energy.
Matt was invite by a family of one of his students to come to a birthday dinner for their son. They wrote Matt a very touching letter explaining how much Matt had positively influenced their son and they want their son to have men in his life who are good examples of what men should grow to be. What an honor. Here is Matt with Lillian before he headed off to dinner. While he was gone, I took the kids to met up with Grammie to have a belated birthday dinner for her at Carrabbas. It was delish!
Wyatt was Top Toucan this week at school. This meant he got to bring special things about himself. One of these had to be a special snack. So on Sunday night, this momma threw together a meaningful snack for him to take to talk about our upcoming trip to Disney World which EVERYONE is SO excited about.
This week has been relatively uneventful. Just school and work and of course playtime with our sweet girl.
This girl! Those cheeks! The lashes for miles! She's amazing! And I love that I have special days with her to play and snuggle her up. Time is moving so quickly that I just savor each moment and feel so blessed.
Next up, the month of love!
