We just got back from a fun weekend in Texas visiting family and going to celebrate cousin Ryan's graduation from high school.
Flying is always fun with this crew!!
We got to Austin around lunch time and headed to Rudys for some super good barbque before driving to Temple to meet up with everyone.
On Friday we headed to the local mall to shop and hang out some while Ryan had graduation practice. Afterwards we went back to the Stephen's house for lunch and a little birthday celebration for Wyatt.
Paxton showed the boys how the soda stream worked by making them root beer. Portia also made some yummy grilled cheese using the waffle iron. Hello!!! Delish!!
Friday night we went to see Ryan graduate. He opened the ceremony by reading a special Bible verse.
I was a little worried on how the kiddos would do sitting through the graduation. They really did quite well. The boys had their iTouches to keep them occupied. They ended up taking a ton of pics of random things. Whatever works right?!! Lillian was occupied with goldfish and digging through the diaper bag when she wasn't sitting on someone's lap.
The graduate with the fam! (Check Lillian out! Yep, her finger is up her nose. Seriously?!!)
On Saturday the Stephens had people over for a brisket lunch. Yummy!!
Lillian in the cute little dress and huge bow CiCi bought her! Adorbs!
Naptime!
For both of them!
Sunday we headed to lunch before CiCi, Nina, Phyllis and Nathan (aka Big Willy) headed back to Odessa. After lunch our family headed to Austin to shop and spend the night before flying home Monday.
She didn't want to sleep on the flights home. Ahhh! It was a feat but survivable. Life traveling with kids is ALWAYS an adventure!!
It was great to be able to travel with our family and be there for such a big milestone for Ryan! This was a great kickoff to a summer packed full of fun and vacays! Yay!!
