Bed Rest & Back to School

This week brought bedrest due to ongoing contractions and back pain.  Madeline is very active and would not cooperate for a nonstress test at the doctor's office.  After the nurses threw in the towel, she decided to dance some more.  Check out the video.
I have been able to get some projects done despite the bedrest.
This crew has been great about coming to cuddle up with me and keep me entertained.
On Wednesday, I did get out to go spend some time with my Grandmother who just got moved into an assisted living program at Brookdale. I took her a little something to decorate her apartment door.
Since I knew bedrest was coming at some point, I had stocked up on some craft stuff to keep me busy.  Here are the cute little crowns I made for the girls because every girl needs a crown.
This has become the norm around here this week.
Friday was Walker's 100th day of school.  As part of the celebration, they were asked to make a tshirt with 100 items on it.  He chose mustaches.  I think it turned out quite cute for our handsome kindergartner.
More of what has become the norm.
Yesterday was a big day for Matt as he started classes for his Master's in Educational Leadership.  My mom was great in coming to help me with the kids while Matt was gone all day.  She kept them entertained and helped with chores around the house which was MUCH appreciated.
Our sweet Lillian has been getting her momma practice in a bunch this weekend too.  It seriously is the cutest thing as she is so serious about taking care of whichever doll or stuffed animal is the "baby" of the moment.
Not much is in store for this next week.  More rest for me, my 34 wk check on Madeline, and everyday living with my sweet family.
