We had the best time on our annual family beach vacay this year. I'm going to split our pics up into several post so as not to overload in one. I got LOTS of pics.
Here's what traveling in the car as a half dozen family looks like. This was my solution for not being cramped with us and our stuff. It was awesome!!
Our drive was going great until we hit a stand still of traffic due to a wreck. Whatcha gonna do with ancy kids and not moving? Well, let them out for a bit until things get moving again.
Lillian is taking her baby doll lots of places these days, so of course she had to go the the donut hole.
Our first morning out on the beach and Matt and the kids found some big shells.
We head out to the beach early so as to miss the heat of the day but get lots of ocean and sand time in too!
Our sweet Madeline did great. She loved a good beach nap each morning and put her toes in the sand.
We had great days for the boys to ride the waves.

We weren't planning on starting foods with Madeline until she was almost 6 months, but she had other plans. For a few meals we watched as she zeroed her eyes in on our forks and would even open her mouth hoping it was coming for her. Sad. So we caved and started baby cereals with her and she LOVES it.
