We just got back from a great weekend in Texas visiting family and celebrating Paxton's graduation from high school. The boys drove down on Thursday stopping along the way and having fun at the Bass Pro Shop in Memphis.
The girls and I had a nice quiet day at home playing and hanging out before getting a bath and an early bedtime for our early flight Friday morning.
The girls did so great having to get up early to get to the airport and through all the security stuff. We boarded the plane and the girls got settled in and both fell asleep shortly after take off.
We were excited to see Daddy and get to Temple were the boys were hanging out with their cousins and having fun! Since Wyatt's birthday was actually Friday, we headed to lunch at a place of his choosing for burgers and custard. Yum!
That afternoon we had to hit up the pool for some loud, energy filled fun!
After some good naps for the girls, we headed to the graduation for Paxton. How cute are these little loves walking in with their Daddy?!!
I'm waiting for family to send some of the family pictures taken at graduation.
After the festivities we headed back to the hotel for a little cake and celebration of Wyatt's birthday. I still can't quite believe he is 11!!
After getting some breakfast at the hotel Saturday morning and getting ready, we headed out to do a little toy shopping with this crazy bunch!
Of course they picked out weapons to play with!! Such boys!
We relaxed and played at the hotel, had some pizza and more cake for Caroline's birthday a few weeks ago before the boys needed to get some swimming in and the girls needed naps.
Saturday evening, Portia had planned an awesome Graduation dinner for Paxton at this family owned barbecue restaurant. It was so good!!
Miss Caroline loves her some lip gloss. Girly girl!
Lillian loved the hotel life for sure!
Sunday these studs brought their A game. Ha!
And our girly girls played in the car with their toys CiCi bought while we drove to lunch.
Sunday afternoon, brought more rowdy pool play with the boys while the girls got good naps.
Monday was time to head home. The girls and I flew out Monday afternoon, and the rest of the family started their respective drives back home. The girls did great on the flight home as well. I couldn't ask for better travel buddies.
We settled in back home and caught up on some rest.
The boys split up the drive home and arrived Tuesday afternoon. It was a fun filled weekend with family for sure! The kids had an absolute blast playing and the adults had fun hanging out and catching up!
