Adventurous Week

We have had an adventurous and very busy week at our house.  Matt and Wyatt headed off to Cub Scout camp for four days, leaving Walker, Lillian, Madeline and myself to stay busy and have fun at home.  

On Monday it was predicted to rain that morning, the kids and I headed out to see a movie.  It was a fun activity.  Madeline did pretty well sitting and chowing down on popcorn during the movie.

Meanwhile at Cub Scout camp, Wyatt had a BIG accomplishment passing his big swim test to be able to participate in the water activities.  He was SO proud and we are SO proud of him too!!

That evening he caught the first fish of his group too!

The next morning they started off with more fishing fun!

I decided to keep the kiddos busy by taking them to the smaller pool to swim and play.

It was a lot of busy fun and we had the pool to ourselves for a good while too.

Wednesday we ventured out again that morning to the bigger neighborhood pool for some fun!

Wyatt stayed super busy at camp doing archery, repelling, and lots of water activities.

Check it out!  So proud of him for trying something new and so challenging!

Meanwhile, this little nugget set herself up a little cupcake party complete with doll and Moana on the iPad while her sister took a late nap.

Thursday was a quiet day at home letting Matt and Wyatt just catch up on rest from camp and relax.  The boys put together our new family puzzle that arrived from Shutterfly!  I love their freebies!

Friday after work, I got crafty and put together a little closet for Lillian's doll clothes.  It was an idea I found on Pinterest.  I already had a crate, so I painted it, added the dowel and the cut down little baby hangers.  Lillian was quite thrilled with it.  I figure it only cost me $6, so if she doesn't use it, I just flip it on it's side back into a crate and she can dump the clothes in it.  Ha!

Saturday, Matt needed to work on his final paper and project for his Master's.  He's in the last week!  Wahoo!!  So, we sent him off to a quite place to work, while Grammie came over to play and have fun!  We spent the morning at the pool playing and having all sorts of water fun!

After swimming and lunch the girls crashed out for a nap while the boys chilled.  It was a beautiful day so when Lillian got up, Grammie watched them play in the back yard for a bit.  The kids enjoy showing off for her.  It was great to get to hang out while Matt worked finishing up his school stuff.
