Beach Vacay, Part 3

We have just had some amazing beach days!!  This day the water was so calm and clear!

There were tiny shells to find.

This would crack me up almost everyday.  Lillian would pose with her hands on her hips as if she was challenging the ocean to bring on the waves!

It was a calm and perfect day to play with the kayak too!

While the girls played and the boys kayaked and swam, Matt befriended a gentleman who taught him how to find sanddollars.  It was so cool!

They live in clusters and are brown and fuzzy when they are alive.

Matt ended up finding dozens and dozens of them.  We kept a few to bleach.

Long, busy, eventful mornings at the beach mean great afternoon naps!

Here are the bleached sanddollars.  The boys were just devastated that they were no longer alive and we couldn't take them home alive.  Oops!

Another gorgeous day!!

All of the kids just loved playing and having a blast.  There were no tears about sand or getting in the ocean the whole time we we've been here!
Water gun wars!!

And a beautifully washed up sanddollar that Wyatt found!

There's still more fun to come!
