This week started out with Walker not feeling well and staying home with Daddy on Monday.
Our Sweets and Treats envelope tradition has been fun this week. The kids have loved opening their envelopes to find their surprise each morning.
We had another change in our house this week. This custom built stair barrier that Matt built has been a fixture in our home for over a year and a half. Now though Madeline has figured out how to get around it and it has served its purpose well.
This week it headed out to a new home which makes our house look so different than we have been used to. It's crazy.
We completed Walker's Valentine box for school. Crazy boy can match his look so well! He's not expressive or anything! Ha!
Valentine cookie orders have been flooding in this week!
This just made my heart explode this week. We got home just as the boys were getting off the bus. When Madeline heard the bus she looked up and saw Walker coming down the sidewalk and the two just started running to each other squealing each other's names. Of course I couldn't get my phone out in time. Ugh! Well they started walking back and then she realized she hadn't seen Wyatt. She turned back and he just got off the bus (he's one of the last ones off since he is a 5th grader and sits in the back). Madeline turned and barreled to him. He ran and picked her up in the cutest bear hug! My phone worked this time! So sweet!!
The best laugh happened in when we they got to the driveway, Lillian was taking her sweet time getting out of the car and looked up and said, "Hey boys!" in such a nonchalant way. Cracked me up!
I had a fun birthday order this week for a special 5 year old boy!
Oh parent watch week gets me EVERY time! Love watching this beauty!
We are looking forward to a fun Valentine's week!!
