Our Easter weekend has been quite packed with many different activities. We spent Saturday dying, decorating and hunting Easter eggs. This was our first year to try dying eggs with Wyatt. He did quite well. He enjoyed watching them get darker and darker as they bathed in the color.

Once the eggs has dried, Wyatt had fun putting stickers all over the eggs. We all had fun decorating eggs and thank goodness on the eggs got dyed.

Saturday afternoon, Daddy hid eggs all over our back yard for Wyatt to hunt. He is all about the hunting, and was quite proud of his eggs at the end.

This morning Wyatt found that the Easter bunny had indeed hopped by to bring him and Walker some treats. Wyatt had fun playing with his treats while Mommy caught up on some sleep. Our little Walker has been wide awake for four hour stretches in the middle of the night the past two nights. We are working hard to try to get him back on track. At least when he is wide awake he is content and not crying, but I still needed a cat nap this morning.

This Easter day we went over to
Grammie & Papa's house to spend our day and have lunch. This was Walker's first visit to their house and Wyatt was excited to take his baby to their house.

Today is Walker's due date, and we are SO happy he was here earlier than expected so we could cuddle our bunny today.

Wyatt was so excited once we got to
Grammie & Papa's. He was geared up and ready to play.

Once Wyatt had played a bit, we went outside to hunt some Easter eggs. Last year we had to slow Wyatt down from opening every egg and eating all the candy. We were a bit concerned this year as we hunted eggs before lunch which could have been a disaster when it comes to him eating lunch. However, this year he was all about the hunt and could have cared less about the candy. In fact, he asked Papa to
rehide the eggs so he could hunt them all down again. Too funny!

After lunch and a nap, Wyatt and I headed out to pick some of
Grammie's flowers. Wyatt picked one for everybody and a few more. So cute. He said the flowers were for me and I was a princess. How cute is he?!?!?! Love him!

All day today
Grammie worked hard to help keep Walker awake more, so maybe, just maybe he will get his days and nights regulated. He stayed awake for a bit, but slept a bunch. Right when we were loading up to head on home, I put Walker in his
carseat and boy, oh boy, he was bright eyed and wide awake. We all just soaked up his bright eyes, as they are quite captivating. Such an sweet heart!

However, by the time we got home, Walker was plum tuckered out. Oh well, let's keep our fingers crossed that he might sleep better tonight!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter enjoying time with family and remember the gift we have all been given. He has risen!!!
