Spring Break Fun

Spring has sprung here and we are quite thrilled with the warmer weather. This past week was Matt's spring break which means the boys were all home being boys, playing with toys and creating a whole lotta noise! We spent the week enjoying our sweet boys. Wyatt is so great with his brother and is even wanting to hold him so more (of course with supervision, cause when he's done, he's done).

On Tuesday, my friend Rachel came by to see the boys and also give me some girl time. After being thoroughly entertained by Wyatt, Rachel and I went to lunch. This gave Matt the opportunity to give Walker his first bottle. He was quite thrilled as all he has gotten to do was burp Walker, hold him, and change diapers.

On Wednesday, Matt took Wyatt to the Nashville Zoo. Wyatt had a blast looking at the animals and playing on the playyard there.

Wyatt loves being Daddy's big helper, and loves getting all geared up to help him out.

Friday we all went out to the movies to see How to Train your Dragon. When I say we all went, we ALL went including Walker. Was I crazy to take a 3 wk old to the movies? Maybe. Was it worth it to see how much Wyatt enjoyed the movie including clapping at the very end? Definitely! Walker totally did great too! He slept through the movie with a blanket tucked around his head to muffle the sound. (Is it me, or do they blast the volume a bit much? Gosh, I sound old.)

Saturday brought more quality time with Wyatt including decorating cupcakes with sprinkles. That is definitely his favorite part next to licking all the icing off the top.

This next pic cracks me up. This is Wyatt being like Mommy. As you can gather, I take a lot, and I mean A LOT of pictures of my sweet boys. I love to capture the moments in pictures to look back on and scrapbook, not to mention put on our blog. Anyway, Wyatt has his own camera and decided he wanted to be like me. He spent an hour taking pictures of Walker, me, the floor, the tv, his toys, etc. You name it, he was taking a picture of it. Too funny! I will have to upload his pictures to show sometime. Preschooler photography is hilarious!

Walker spent this week eating, eating, eating, sleeping, sleeping, sleeping, awake a bit more, eating some more, awake some more, and oh yes, GROWING! He really is filling out and getting some chubby cute cheeks. Gotta love it! Walker really has been awake more during the day which is so fun. He has the biggest bright eyes that are captivating. He also loves listening to us talk, the shake of the doggie rattle and tracking it. Did I mention he is trying to roll over already. He has figured out how to get the left foot in the right position to get leverage to try rolling. We are gonna have to keep an eye on him.
As far as regulating the days and nights, Walker is really getting on track. He does sleep SO much better at night going about 3 1/2 to 4 hours stretches which is fabulous!

To round out our spring break, Wyatt finished up his fabulous week by cracking the rest of the confetti eggs over Daddy's head. I wish I had gotten video again, but Wyatt turboed through them. He was quite proud of his big mess when he was done.
