Quick Trip to Little Rock

This past weekend we loaded up and headed to Little Rock to meet up with family and get our new to us car from CiCi. We are so thankful that Grandma Nina, Aunt Phyllis and CiCi took the longer part of the "meeting halfway" drive. It was great to get to spend time with everyone even if it was so brief. Wyatt cracked me up the whole drive there telling me "Mommy, you are taking too long!" as we drove to Little Rock. He was so excited to stay in a hotel and see everyone. Walker was a great little traveler too! No big surprise as he is such a chilled boy.

We had fun seeing everyone, shopping a bit, and eating out. Wyatt was quite happy to share a hotel bed with CiCi and watch TV most of the night Saturday. He took a rocking nap on Sunday though! Walker just enjoyed "talking", playing, and being so happy.

Monday we loaded up and drove back with Walker and I in my car and Daddy & Wyatt in the Armada. We are so thankful to have the opportunity to get such a great family car from CiCi. It is such an answered prayer for us to not have to worry about what will happen if Matt's truck were to break down, especially if he had both boys with him. It was bittersweet to say goodbye to the ole truck, but I can't say that I will miss it's stinky locker room smell. Ick! Now we will enjoy the big green monster car! Thanks CiCi for everything!!!
