A Special Day with Wyatt

As today is election day across the nation, Wyatt got the day off from school.  This meant Wyatt and I got to spend a special day together.  He termed today "The best day ever!"  I must say it was pretty great being able to spend one on one time with my first born babe!

We started the day off with waffles then made a run to Target for a few items.  After Target we headed to the mall to do some shopping.  I was in need of some new shoes for work and since it was buy one get one 1/2 off, Wyatt got an awesome pair too for basketball!  He was totally excited!  After a few more clothing items for the boys, Wyatt asked so nicely if we could go to Build a Bear before lunch, just to look.  Right. . .  Well, I let him pic out a animal to  make and this just made his day!  When his new bear, Santa, was complete we headed to the food court for Wyatt's fav food ever. . . PIZZA!

 After lunch Wyatt and I headed to the movies to watch Wreck-It Ralph in 3D!!!  He has been talking about going to this movie since this weekend and was over the moon with excitement.  It was great!

As we prepare for our third addition to our family, it is SO important for me to have these special moments one on one with each of my children.  I just love being able to talk and listen to Wyatt tell me all sorts of things and it so great to be able to do this with just the two of us.  So yes, I agree this was the best day ever!!
