Destin Part 2: Deep Sea Fishing

While we were in Destin, the big boys went deep sea fishing one morning.  Matt, Travis (my dad's brother in law who was in Panama City on vacation), and Papa headed out on a party boat for some fun.

The 3 of them are in the front.  This was the boat coming back.

 During this trip they had a BIG catch.  Papa caught a fish and as he was reeling it in in a shark ate it hooking the shark.  Wow!  Dad, Matt and one of the boat hands all worked to reel this bad boy in.  They didn't realize it was a shark until they finally got it reeled in to bring up.  This shark was over 6 feet long and HEAVY!!  Unfortunately, the deckhands wouldn't let them bring it on the boat for safety reasons.  Oh well, it was a fun experience.

 The boys and I headed down to meet up with the guys when they came in.  Here is a pic of their catch.  Wyatt was interested at first and Walker. . . not so much. 

Maybe as the boys get bigger they will want to go.  For now, Grammie and I were happy to keep them with us and enjoy going to the pool.
