We spent everyday on the beach! It was fabulous!
Grammie and Lillian chatting it up.
Walker had a fun way of running from our chairs to the ocean each time we would say "Ready, Get Set, Go!" It's a great way to wear a kiddo out. :)
Cooling off in the ocean
Each year I have taken a pic of our footprints. This year it was a bit difficult as the sand moisture has to be just perfect. Not to mention trying to get the kiddos to cooperate. Here is our attempt.

More sandcastle building
My sweet little beach baby
After a morning rainstorm, the ocean brought in a bunch of seaweed. Walker was not a fan, and would go growl at it as if it were a monster. Silly boy!
While we were there, Papa was having fun in the waves and one of the waves knocked off his sunglasses. While he and Matt were looking for them another wave knocked off Matt's actual glasses. Well, Papa's sunglasses washed up to shore and a man found and returned them to him. Yay! Matt's on the other hand, they were gone. So off to Walmart for a new pair he went. What do you think of these replacements?!! LOL!
He chose a different pair to Walker's dismay. Now sweet Lillian had an adorable pair of shades and just loved rocking them.
Miss Lillian taking it easy on the beach
On our last day there Walker made a little friend. The two of them built sandcastles and played in the water. They had the best time. (Hayden is 4 1/2 and Walker was the same size as he was!! LOL! Guess my perspective of a 3yr old size is a bit skewed.)
When we would come in from the beach someone would have to keep Lillian entertained until all the wet boys could get cleaned off. This day Papa and Lillian had some special time. So cute!
On the afternoon of our last day we were heading down to the beach when this bad boy storm began rolling in. Talk about a quick clearing of the beach. You can see an SUV in the lower left corner of the pic. This was the sheriff getting people off the beach.
As with many pop up storms at the beach, they pass quickly. We waited it out and then headed down to the pool. Stay tuned. . .
