Settling in to our routine

We are settling into to our new routines as school, work and daycare have all started. Each week seems to be full of activities. 

Our itty bitty is getting so big!! We got down the jumperoo for her to start using. She loves it!!

We also got down the highchair as Lillian is old enough to start cereal.  the boys had a cowboy highchair cushion, so it was time for a girly change.  I had left over fabric from making Lillian's bedding, so I whipped up this cute cushion and scotch guarded it.  Now we are all set. I think we shall start the cereal sometime next weekend. We just have so much going on that I'm not quite ready to add one more thing.  (And why should I push her to grow up so fast, right?!)

Wyatt now has two weeks of first grade under his belt.  Whew!  Let me tell ya, it is MUCH different than Kindergarten. This past week Wyatt got his first spelling list and completed his first spelling test. He did GREAT! We practiced all week, and he had it DOWN by Friday. I went to Parent Open house on Tuesday. I'm really excited about his year and his teacher. She is great!  Although this year is going to be a lot of hard work, it's going to be great to see Wyatt grow and learn. 

Wednesday was a hard, hard day for my itty bitty. Her acid reflux really flared up. She spent most of the day crying in my arms. It was pitiful. We now have upped her meds, and she is back to her happy self.  So thankful for that.  

Wednesday afternoon our sanity saver arrived for the downstairs. We have the jumperoo, but it's a pain to take up and down the stairs, so I got this fun activity toy, an Around We Go.  She loves it.

If we weren't busy enough we decided to get Wyatt involved in Cub Scouts. Monday Matt went to learn about it all and sign him up. He came home with Wyatt signed up, and he signed up at the Tiger cub leader. Yay! We're gonna be busy!!  Really though, it will be great for them and Walker once he is old enough. The Pack already has campouts scheduled, so Matt went to hunt down some camping gear. We got a great deal on this awesome tent. The boys both big and small are SUPER excited!!

Stay tuned for all our fun this fall.  It is getting busy, but it's great to step back and enjoy these moments as my sweet three grow up. It's gonna happen, and I feel it is SO important for us to soak in every moment. Memories are being made daily.  We are SO blessed!!
