Wrapping up August

We have had a great and full week.  Monday started off with the welcome ceremony for Cub Scouts.  Here are my boys all ready.  

Lillian and I spent my two days off playing around the house.  She's getting so big and is quite playful and interactive which is SO fun!

Friday she was my little anti-napper.  At least she was happy and too cute. I love her big bright eyes.

We spent all week working with Wyatt practicing his spelling words.  Friday morning we practiced on the way to school.  He was well prepared.  As I dropped him off at school, I gave him a kiss and told him all Daddy & I care about is that he tries to do his very best.  I am proud to say he got a 100!! We are so proud of him, but most important he is proud of how his hard work paid off.  We are starting the year off on a great foot.  

Today we have just had a relaxing day with the kids playing and doing some housework. As college football is kicking off Matt was so happy to dress Lillian up in her Texas Longhorn dress and bloomer one of his friends gave him as a baby gift. 

She is pretty darn cute but I think we need to add a bow next time. :) As for me, I happily got to escape for an hour to get a spa pedicure. It was heaven!  Now I'm all set to roll into fall and September.
