Time for Ear Tubes for Lillian

The time finally came for our Lillian to follow in both of her brother's footsteps and get ear tubes.  She also needed a frenulectomy for her upper lip.  So, Mommy got everything scheduled.  On Tuesday, we went for our ENT consult appointment with Dr. Goudy who has placed both the boys ear tubes in the past.
When we got home from our appointment, Lillian's new purse had arrived.  She LOVE, LOVE, LOVES it!  She is SUCH a girly girl.  We love it!
Thursday was the big day.  Lillian did great all morning considering she couldn't eat and had to stop juice at 8:00.  Once we arrived she figured out this was not something she was too excited about.
Having picked a special anesthesiologist to care for my girl, I had the perk of getting this awesome text from him once she was done with surgery to let me know everything had gone great.  Thanks Dr. Roke and Lara Craig for doing such a great job!!
Our girl woke up beautifully.  She sweetly rolled over, spit out her oral airway, sat up and reached for her juice.  No tears.  No fuss.  She gulped down her juice and was ready to go.
After a great nap on the way home and eating a late lunch, we were all back to our expressive little selves.  Happy happy!
We could not have asked for a better experience!!  Today this sweet care package arrived from one of my great friends, Laura.  It is for the two patients at our house (more on that to come.)
Is it not the cutest!!!  Lillian loves wearing the stethoscope!
Tonight I cuddle my sweet girl in her favorite spot, all snuggled up into my neck.
We are so grateful Lillian's surgery was able to get scheduled so quickly and went so well.
