Wednesday was Mommy's birthday! Yep, another year older and hopefully wiser. This birthday brought about some reflection. I'm so thankful to get to celebrate another year of life, a year of trials and triumphs, of challenges and gifts, of sorrow and joy, of life. I hope to meet each new day with the knowledge I have gained, with grace and with gratefulness.
Wednesday we celebrated with our family tradition of an ice cream cake. Mmmm! Our kids are obsessed with blowing candles. Wyatt would light them, and Walker & Lillian would blow them out over and over again.
I got a beautiful necklace, a pedicure, and the gift of getting my car detailed. Yippee!
Saturday night, my parents took us out for dinner to celebrate. The waiter was so sweet to not make a fuss by having everyone sing, THANK GOODNESS!! He did bring me a little sundae with a candle. Wyatt was my fab photographer.
My parents continue to spoil me to this day and bought me some earrings I've had my eye on. I love them! The kids are pretty enamoured with them too.
It was a great birthday!
