Projects a plenty

Summer and a long weekend mean projects a plenty around our house.  This weekend I painted Lillian's bedroom a very soft pink.  It's a color that works with her current nursery although it is intended for her big girl room.  I have bought the furniture for her big girl room and started buying accessories and such such.  It's so much fun, but. . .I'm not ready to transition her out of the crib for awhile longer, so our guest room houses the treasures I've collected so far. ;)
At our previous house, we had a huge chalkboard on our back fence for the kids.  This time we modified this idea and made four chalkboard (front and back) that hang on hooks that we can remove or turn over but also hide chalk behind it between uses.  The kids (and adults) love these new additions to our backyard.
Until we are ready to revamp Lillian's bathroom, I hung her L and a new shower curtain.
And in the boy's bathroom I added another helpful Mom reminder in the form of a sticker for their mirror.  They think it's hilarious!  I just hope they actually do it!  Ha!  At some point we plan to change out the faucet and the light fixture in here and then we are all set.  I'm just waiting for Matt's hand to heal a bit more before giving that a try.
After so many projects, it's time to sit back and get pampered.  Lol!!
And snuggle in bed as we take our time getting up for the day.  Ahhh, summer schedules.
And summer naps are the best!!
We are scheduled to get some more furniture this weekend while the big boys are out of town for Cub Scout camp.  I'm excited the house is finally starting to come together.  Yay!!
