Keeping busy

I have spent the weekend keeping busy with a bunch of little projects between playing with the sweet three.  I finally settled on a fabric for the living room drapes.  It arrived and it was time to get started sewing.
I finished them in about 2 hours which was surprising.
I love how they turned out.  They add a lot to the room.
We went to the movies to see Inside Out!  It was so cute and our crew all enjoyed it!
With left over fabric, I made several throw pillows for the sofa which have helped tie the room together more and add some pop of color to our dark sectional.
Today, since I am a bit crazy and have a pretty steady hand, I painted Lillian and my toes in a patrotic theme.  Lillian does great playing with things on the counter or watching the iPad while I paint and dry her toes.  They turned out so cute!
I also got in a little cutting with my silohoutte!  I love this machine!!
After all of that we are worn out.  Ha!!  Not really, we got a few good naps in too!
We are wrapping up June and heading into a vacation filled July starting with a trip to KCK to see family and meet our new niece, Caroline.  Stay tuned to our fun!
