Last week went traveled to Kansas City to visit with family. This time we decided to fly to make everything a little easier travel wise. The kids LOVE to fly. Our sweet girl had her own seat this time and was excited to board the plane.
Lillian fell asleep at take off and woke up right after we landed.
As Matt and I picked up the rental car, the kids entertained each other with a game of chase and hugs.
We were so excited to see everyone and meet baby Caroline for the first time. Lillian was just smitten with the real live baby doll and wanted to hold her immediately.
Uncle Matt was pretty smitten too! Everyone in our house loves a sweet baby!
On Friday, we started the day out right with some pool time at the hotel. The kids both big and small had a blast.
For lunch we went to Fritz's which was Wyatt's one request as he remembered it from our visit a few years ago.
That afternoon we just chilled out a bit at Lindsey & Jordan's house before getting ready to head to the Royal's game that night.
The weather was perfect for the game. The kids were excited and we had a great view of everything.
Our sweet Wyatt wanted to get everyone a souvenir from the game and picked out these foam claws. He is so thoughtful.
Sweet Caroline did great and was awake and alert for a good portion of the game.
These two are so cute together. There's nothing like a daddy and his daughter!
It was a late game that went into overtime. Our sweet girl just couldn't keep her eyes open any longer. She was royally done for the night.
We stayed to see an awesome fireworks display to cap off the night.
Lillian got woken up and wasn't too sure, but still did okay in Daddy's arms. It was a fabulous evening. Walker said it was just awesome!
