Soaking up Newborn Bliss

We have been busy soaking up newborn bliss at our house.  Madeline is a calm new addition to our home.  She doesn't cry about much just diaper changes and when she's hungry.   She clearly is used to the noise level of our home as she's been taking it in for months in my belly.
Matt had a rough job of snuggling today.
Wyatt loves snuggling his sister telling her how pretty she is and loved too.
Walker has found a new lovey.  He has a stuffed lion lovey that he swirls the mane on as a soothing thing.  I keep seeing him snuggle up to Madeline and swirl her hair.  They both seem to find it soothing.
She reminds me so much of Lillian as a newborn.
Lillian is taking to her new role as big sister.  She loves to look at "baby", pet her head, and now she loves to brush her hair which Madeline loves too.
I want to hold baby hand.
Lucky me, while the boys were at baseball practice, both girls were napping.  So, I did what every mom does, I napped too!
I mean I could just snuggle this little lovey all day long.
Sweet girl did so well with her sponge bath with a little fussing more because it was time to eat more that anything else.
I can't believe Madeline is already one week old!!  She has been just a dream!
Below is our birth announcement for Madeline.  I just love that I was able to find something with the classic rose theme I have started with her.
Stay tuned to our adventures as a half dozen Hills.  We have a lot coming up this week.
