April Activities

Good ole daily life is keeping us busy as always.  Having a sweet little baby in the family means big siblings wanting to hold her all the time.  I treasure it and almost always oblige as I know these days are fleeting.
These two. . .my goodness!
Tuesday, Walker had an eventful morning.  I took him in for what I thought was going to be just a small cavity filling.  Wrong.  It turned out he had had an abscess at some point and the tooth had to be pulled.  Our dentist is amazing and walked Walker through it in the most tender and comforting way as it is difficult to explain what pressure feels like when pulling a tooth.  Walker was such a trooper!
Since Walker couldn't go to school afterwards, he stayed home with the girls.  We spent the afternoon doing a butterfly stain glass craft as we teach Lillian about the letter B.
Sweet big sister loves to show Madeline how to play with her toys.
Now our Madeline. . . what can I say. . . she is just the happiest, smiling love around.
On Wednesday, we continued to work on crafts around the letter B by making bumble bees.  Buzz!  Buzz! Buzz!
Like I said, our sweet Maddie Ann loves to smile and chat with mommy every evening.  It just melts my heart!
On Friday, we headed over to pick up Papa and take him out to dinner.  Wyatt got a great surprise with an early birthday present, a scooter.  Each of the kids has gotten a scooter for their birthday and Wyatt was patiently waiting for the end of May to get his.  It was great to get it early.  He is SO excited and loving becoming a master rider.
These kids just adore their Papa!
Of course I have to include these sweet smiling pics of our Madeline.  It's my way of bottling these moments up!
We're heading into another week of just daily living with nothing planned which is nice!  The weather is beautiful as spring has sprung, so we will be enjoying life outside every afternoon too!
