Settling In

We are settling into our school year routine quite nicely.  Other than a smidge crazy Monday evening, we have had a smooth week full of school, family time in the evenings, reading, playing, vocab word studying and much more!
My sleeping beauty has fought off her little cold quite well.
Lillian has kept us laughing and smiling and generally just on our toes with her antics.
Last week she did well with me taking her to school on my day off, this week she was a little sad when I had to leave. It's an adjustment for sure.
I was off only one day this week and Madeline and I thought the house was super quite without the bigs around.  Hmm. . . it's an adjustment too.
I am loving Lillian's preschool class and her teacher.  She comes home with the cutest art work each day and has learned all sorts of great things.  Here are a few of her master pieces.
Friday night started the routine of Daddy going to annouce the Williamson County Football Game of the Week.  We had a pretty Incredible evening.  LOL!  It was rather chill filled with playing and just winding down.
Daddy practicing fixing girly hair.  Ha!!  He's got a ways to go!
What does one do on rainy Saturdays?  Well, craft of course.  Even Daddy jumped in.
We also started prepping for starting baby food with our sweet Madeline this next week.  I got peas, carrots and green beans made and am waiting on fresh squash and sweet potatoes from a friend's garden to do this week as well.  I love this machine.  It seriously is the quickest way to make fresh baby food.  I just chopped up the veggie, added the water and set the right settings and walked away.  Done!  Rinse and repeat.  So easy!  Wish I had had this with the other kids when they were babies.
Finally, our sweet girl has cut another tooth this week now giving her two little chomp chomps!
We've got another great week ahead kicking off the start of Cub Scouts tomorrow night!
