Why do short weeks seem just a bit off? We've just been up to our routines this week with school and family time.

Tuesday morning I woke up to the sweet sound coming through the baby monitor of sisters chatting up a storm.

Saturday, Matt started back to his fall semester of his Master's program, so Grammie and Papa came over to help and play with the kids. Our sweet Madeline took a fabulous afternoon nap while the rest of the kids played.
When Matt returned from classes, we headed out to dinner with Grammie and Papa at the Chop House. Yum! The kids always love throwing pennies in the pond and making wishes after dinner here.
In family news, we lost Matt's uncle Russell this week as he moved home to be with the Lord. He will be sorely missed by our family! We are holding up Portia, Ryan and Paxton in prayer during this difficult time. Heaven gained a funny, selfless, kind-hearted man!
