What . A . Week !!!

OMG!! It's been one heck of a week at our house!!!  Starting with Halloween on Monday that was busy and fun. Tuesday brought a quick morning home with this sweet pea before picking up the boys for some special testing at Learning Rx.  We're trying figure out how they learn and ways to help make learning a little easier for them both.  Needless to say, the afternoon was long and overwhelming.
Wednesday morning was the Grand breakfast at the boys school.  Grammie and Papa came over to take the boys to school.  They had fun and were spoiled with a few books and treats from the book fair.

Thursday, well, Thursday.  What can I say. . . Walker's day got derailed right out of the gate at early care when he fell off a slide and broke both bones in his left arm.  I got the call at work from Matt at 8a.m. and they headed to me.  We had a long day in the ER getting Xrays, determining the best plan, sedation to reset the arm and casting.  Whew!!  I will say Walker was hands down the BRAVEST trooper around!!  When people asked him what happened, he said, "I was going down the slide, and well, it didn't go so well."  Bless!!

When we were ready to go, the child life specialist presented this huge box of gifts to Walker.  Wow!  They sure made him feel special.

We got home with very little time before Grammie and Papa arrived for a super quick dinner before we headed to Wyatt's 4th Grade Musical, Pirates!  It was a cute production!
Here's a little snippet of Wyatt's group
Friday, the boys headed off to their Cub Scout campout.  Papa got to go too!!  So it was a girls weekend for us!!

We had a very laid back Saturday with lots of play, long naps for the girls, and time visiting with Grammie.  It was awesome to just take a bit to breathe after such a CRAZY week.

Wyatt, Walker, Matt and Papa had a super fun time camping this weekend.  The weather was great too!  It was a good distraction for Walker from the discomfort of the broken arm.

Look at this awesome kiddo throwing a spear with his right hand (his a lefty).
Wyatt was showing off his skills too!
Face painting awesomeness!!
We rounded out our weekend with this little sass teaching us about the TV show in an outfit she put together herself.  Oh my word!!  She is hysterical!!  She even took a bow at the end of her lesson.  Love her!!!

We are looking forward to a short school week and hopefully a little less eventfulness, although we still have a lot going on with dental appointments, ortho follow up appointments, hopefully starting brain training for the boys, and Matt's classes next weekend.  There is certainly never a dull moment at our house. :)
