Staying Busy and Getting Big

We have had another busy week full of work, school, a field trip, and growing up too fast!
Those cheeks!
On Tuesday, when I got home from work and sat down, Madeline saw me and went crazy.  She crawled over as fast as she could and started hugging and loving all over me.  She would hug and then look back at me, smile and bury her head in my neck for more snuggles.  It was the most precious feeling every!  Mommy's home!
Madeline is working hard to keep up with Lillian's spectacular curls.
Friday, I got to go help chaperone Walker's 1st grade field trip to the Adventure Science Center!  It was a busy, crazy morning of fun!
Oh, ya know, just our almost ONE YEAR OLD hanging out on the steps with her little pigtails.
Getting some crafting time in with this cutie!

When we all had our backs turned for a moment, Madeline made her way up our stairs.  About halfway up I saw her and stood behind her and let her continue. She was so proud of herself to get to the top and made a beeline for Lillian's room and Lillian's anywhere chair.  She just loves it.
We are starting the process of moving out of some baby gear and onto new and bigger stuff since our baby hasn't gotten the memo to stay little for a little longer.  We got a new lightweight stroller which has been a hit in all of the 12 hours it's been here.  Madeline loves it, and the kids love pushing her around.  I love it because it's so lightweight and easy to get in and out of the car.
We also are saying goodbye to the babycarrier and hello to new big convertible carseats.  Madeline spent almost an hour getting in and out of it and just laughing.  I hope she stays this excited about them when it's time to get in them to go somewhere.  Ha!
We are quickly having to say good-bye to the baby stages as we seem to be moving at lightening speed towards the toddler stages.  It's bittersweet!
