Wrapping up August

This has been a more typical week for us. . . laid back.  Ha ha ha!  No really, just more of our usual routine.
The boys desperately needed haircuts.  Can't you tell Wyatt is thrilled.
On Thursday, Lillian had her big speech evaluation.  It took 2 hours and she was a trooper.  The next step will be them going to observe her at her school and talking with her teachers.  After that, they will compile all the info and we will meet to talk about what they found and next steps.
After such a long morning, Lillian picked Captain D's for lunch for shrimp and mac-n-cheese.  She was a happy camper!  We headed to Target afterwards where she picked up a Barbie doll.
Friday, Matt took the boys to school and got to be there for All Pro Dad's.
Our sweet Madeline keeps us laughing for sure.  Whenever it's nap time or bedtime, she climbs up the stairs and makes a beeline for the doll bed in Lillian's room where she throws out the pillows and climbs right in.  Silly love!
We are enjoying our long weekend just hanging out and getting a few things done around the house and of course gearing up to take on September!!  Bring on the cooler temps in the mornings!!
