This week has been all about adjusting to our back to school routines and responsibilities, and to say we ended the week exhausted would be the most accurate statement.
Watching Wyatt jump out of the car and head into his middle school life just tugs on the heart strings.
Monday Madeline stayed home with me as she had run a fever all weekend. We headed into Matt’s office to add some touches including a door window shade and door decor.
Our sweet Lilly has had such a hard week adjusting to full day of kindergarten with lots of work and no naps. Couple that with not understanding that Daddy is working when she sees him and she can’t just run and hang with him when she wants, it has made for a week of LOADS of tears. Praying with the prep work and rest we have been doing this weekend, that next week is a better week.

Matt sent me this pic on Thursday. Whoa! I didn’t know this was in his job description. I’m SO glad it’s not in my job duties. No thank you!!!
Friday, Matt and his buddies end to compete in the Great Americana BBQ Festival like they did last year. They had so much fun! The funny part to all of us was that he won for the dessert portion. Ha! Even Matt can bake too! Haha!!
By Friday night we all were ready to crash!!

So this weekend we have tested, picked up the house and prepped for another busy week ahead! Praying for a smoother week for our Lilly girl and adjustment for us all an this routine of school and life.
