I can’t believe we are wrapping up August and heading into our first school holiday with Labor Day weekend. It’s been a busy week!!
Sunday our Madeline turned two and a half and our sweet puppy was born!! One of these sweet loves will be joining us sometime mid October.
Now that Madeline is at the upper weight limit for rear facing, we turned her around to forward facing! Such a big girl!
I swear she’s two going on sixteen!
Our Lilly girl has been doing SO much better with kindergarten and going to her class independently!! We are so proud of her. She is getting too busy to want her picture taken as well. Oh well!

This weekend’s project was getting the headboard for her big girl bed chalkpainted! It will at some point get built out to be a full sized daybed.

Now all that is left is the build out into the daybed which Matt will hopefully get around to soon!
Now on to the next project of reorganizing the bonus room. Whew! It’s going to be an undertaking for sure especially since that back half is a Lego explosion!
We’re gettin ready for fall and are ready to take on September!
