Successful Swimming Lessons

We are proud to say Wyatt has successfully complete the Parent & Tot swimming lessons! Yea Wyatt! It wasn't looking so good on week one when all we had were tears and "I wanna get out!" the entire lesson. Four weeks later, Wyatt is jumping into the pool, getting his head under water without tears, kicking his legs, and using those arms to paddle along. Our instructor said we are ready to try Beginner 1. We are going probably to attempt that in July. In the meantime, we are planning on practicing a bunch!

Tomorrow we are headed down to Atlanta for some super, super fun! Wyatt is quite excited. We are planning on visiting the Children's Museum, the Aquarium, the Coca-Cola Museum, the Lego Store, and the Zoo over the next few days. During our trip Wyatt will turn 3!!!! Yea! We are so very excited and feel blessed beyond measure to be able to celebrate our baby growing up. It is still hard to believe.

We hope everyone is enjoying the holiday weekend. We are also quite thankful to be able to live in a country of freedom. We are thankful to all those who serve and work hard to protect our freedom. We are grateful for those who have lost their lives while protecting our country, and we pray those families who have lost a loved one are comforted. Have a safe and fun Memorial Day!
