Summary Sunday

So here is a summary of our fun this past week and weekend. This week Matt bought some silly string to play with. Wahoo! That was tons of fun! Wyatt had a BLAST getting shot with silly string and attempting to shoot his own can of string. Unfortunately the trigger was a bit hard for him to push. When he did get some out he would squeal, yes, squeal in laughter! Here are a few shots of Wyatt being the silly string monster! Fitting if you see what shirt he was wearing.

Yesterday we had swimming lessons. Remember what the goal was... blow bubbles in the water and get the head under water without tears. Remember that I wasn't holding my breath that we might be successful. . .Well. . . I was wrong! We were SUPER successful. Wyatt did fabulous. I was able to get him to blow bubbles, kick his feet, use his arms, and most importantly. . . get his head under water multiple times WITHOUT tears! Yea! Wyatt had a blast jumping off the side into my arms. I just kept backing up a little further letting him go a little deeper with each jump and after a few tries he had gone under and came up smiling. I am so proud! We are finally getting somewhere. Hopefully we will have continued success next week!

The rest of our weekend has been pretty laid back, mostly spent inside due to some yucky storms yesterday and one muddy ground today. Hopefully the weather will get better so we can get back outside!
We hope everyone had a relaxing and restful weekend. We are gearing up for Matt's last week of school. I am preparing myself for the fact that in about a week my baby is going to turn 3!!! Hard to believe! He is just growing up so fast, learning more everyday, and capturing our hearts more and more with all the love and joy he brings to our lives. We are very blessed and can't wait to celebrate!
