The Makings of a Week in our Life

The makings of our week, well . . . this week we finally followed through on rewarding Wyatt for doing so well following his bedtime routine and sleeping in his own bed. This is something we promised 3 weeks ago, and finally life has allowed us to follow through. Wyatt had an absolute BLAST!!!! Here are a few pictures of our fun.
Yummy pizza & special cup to drink from.

Goofy face with Daddy. (Chuck E Cheese where a kid (big & small) can be a kid!)
This weekend we had to run a few baby related errands, so we went out to dinner at Chili's. Yummy! Wyatt ordered himself. He wanted pizza (again, really?), fries and "red drink". He is just getting so big. He was so polite thanking the waiter for his drink, the balloon the waiter brought him, and his dinner when it arrived piping hot. So cute!

After dinner, it was a quick, and I mean quick trip to the mall for a few things for baby. Wyatt would rather ride the merry go round, so he was indulged. Spoiled much! Nahhh!

So last week I was in a sewing, nesting mood. I decided to start with a purse first just to make sure I remembered how to design, construct and sew together something cute without a pattern. I thought it turned out quite girly and cute! My sewing machine started acting up near completion of the purse, and since my patience is a bit thin, I didn't think I would try the diaper bag I had planned.
But. . . every diaper bag I have found online or in stores either looks cheap, cost WAY to much, or is on backorder til after Walker is suppose to arrive. So . . . I measured and cut out all by fabric pieces, searched online to fix my sewing machine's issues by myself, and stepped away to get some perspective. And here is the result, a day well spent. . . a cute denim bag with bottle pockets on the side, front pockets, two large interior pockets for diapers & more, and the best part, it's totally washable.
A week wouldn't be complete without a quick Baby Walker update:
- A whole week's worth of contractions, terbutaline heart racing, but able to get to work for 2 days!!! Yeah!
- More time to watch the baby bump jump, and wiggle. It is quite a crazy little miracle to behold! Gotta love it!
- One more week of terbulatine and a check this coming Friday.
- Finally. . . the 34 wk baby bump.
