Starting off February

The start of February has been a bit of a roller coaster. Matt traveled back to Texas to be with his father during his final days. With me being 32 weeks pregnant on meds to stop contractions with an energetic 3 1/2 year old to entertain, we went to stay with Grammie & Papa. They have been an immense amount of support and help to me.

During our stay, Papa helped me by picking Wyatt up from school. I can't tell you how much excitement Wyatt had as he told me "My Papa came to my teacher! He met my friends!" It was priceless. Once they would get home it was playtime with guns and swords constructed from blocks and movie time on the sofa. Wyatt was quite pleased to teach Papa all about his favorite movies while chillin' on the sofa with him.
On Thursday, we had a date with Papa for some mexican food. After a yummy dinner, I decided I would take Wyatt to get a MUCH needed haircut. He was such a big boy as he sat in the chair. (I think he was showing off for his Papa.) After the haircut, the stylist put some gel in his hair to spike his new do. Wyatt didn't say much to her. He thanked her and gave her his infamous cutie patotie wink wink! So precious!
On Saturday, Wyatt was invited to his friend Parker's birthday party at Let It Shine. Grammie went with us to help me out since I have become the queen of unproductive contractions lately. Wyatt had an absolute BLAST!!! It was so much fun watching Wyatt take his turn, bounce around, and just have so much fun!
Sunday we spent the day playing at home with Grammie & Papa. Wyatt was Grammie's super big helper at the grocery store that morning. In the afternoon, it was game time. We played all kinds of fun games with Grammie & Papa. Wyatt has such a fun time, and we enjoyed teaching him new games.
Such concentration.
Don't peek!
Wyatt's favorite way to end the day was a bath in Grammie's BIG tub. He loves splashing around.
We had such a fun time being spoiled by Grammie & Papa. Makes it quite hard to go back home. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you, Grammie & Papa! You have been such a great support and help to us!
Matt is now back from a hard time in Texas. He did get the chance to say good-bye to his dad before he passed away on Saturday. We are just thankful it was not a long road of suffering for Tom, and he is now healed and whole again.
