And so it begins. . .
This past week was the start of several things for our sweet Walker. On Monday we went for a 3 hour helmet fitting and began the helmet therapy for the flat spot in the left front portion of his head. Boo! Walker did great through the entire fitting process. He was a bit tired and cranky when we left, but after a 40 minute nap on the way home, he was happy as could be. He really is the poster child for helmet therapy. Happy, Happy boy! I can't imagine doing this with an irritable baby. I'm missing being able to snuggle as closely as I did before. The helmet is a big cumbersome. But, oh well, at least he is happy and well adjusted to it. Hope he remains so during the next 5-6 months.
We also began baby food this week with Walker. We have started with squash and now moved on the green beans. He is a fan! I am hoping to be able to make some of the baby food as well as use Gerber. So far so good.
Wyatt has been having a relaxed week without too much going on. His new fav thing is a Where's Waldo book we got as a toy in a kids meal. He loves flipping through the book and finding things.
And here is my favorite moment of the week. Walker is thrilled to get hugs from his big brother and Wyatt is the BEST big brother around!! He is so good to Walker just loving on him and playing with him. These moments just capture my heart!! Love these boys to pieces!!!
And finally, Walker has really gotten great about sitting up even with the big ole helmet on. I can't believe how fast he is growing. I wish time would slow down just a bit.
We have had a relaxing weekend around here. We did some major clean out yesterday just getting rid of junk around the house, deep cleaning, and getting ready for fall which is just around the corner. Matt has begun his broadcasting of the Williamson County game of the week, and he is quite pumped about it. Apparently, they will be online, so once I find out the site I will post it. Hope everyone has a great week. Can't believe it is about to be SEPTEMBER!!!
