Some first

This week hasn't been too crazy. Walker has had some first that are notable. On Tuesday we started him on rice cereal which he LOVED of course! We have progressed to thicker consistency as he has gotten used to the feel of the spoon and food on this tongue. He is doing great. Hard to believe we are at this stage now!

This afternoon we headed over to Grammie's house to visit with her and Grand. Walker got to meet Grand for the first time too. Wyatt had a blast entertaining Grand and showing her all sorts of things.

While we were at Grammie's Matt got out the jumper for Walker to try. He had fun checking it out and bouncing. He is so tall that we had to raise it up to the third setting. Amazing!

We can't believe it is already August! School is just around the corner. Boo! Tomorrow is Matt's last full day with both the boys this summer. Walker will start daycare on Tuesday for half days this week. Mommy is sad that the time has come. I love the place he is going to be going to and it is where Wyatt goes too, but I'm just sad that I can't be the one to stay home with him. Sometimes it is just hard to be a working mom. :(

On an up note, tomorrow is Matt and I's seven year anniversary. I can't believe how far we have come in these seven years! Hard to remember what life was like with just the two of us. Our adventure so far has had it's ups and downs, but I couldn't imagine taking this life ride with anybody except Matt by my side. Thanks babe for marrying me and sticking with me on this adventure! Looking forward to many many more years! Love you!
