Where did Spring Go??

Where, oh where, did the spring weather go??!!! This past week was Matt's spring break week and I was off work a few more days so I could be home to enjoy some family time too. It was fun despite the freezing rainy weather. This is a typical day of what goes on in our house. No sooner are the boys up, the house quickly becomes a toy bomb. Oh well, they have fun playing and we can always put things away quickly into our awesome built-ins when the day is done. Saturday we were busy, busy, busy with activities for Wyatt. The day started with Wyatt's second soccer game. It was freezing outside, so Grammie came over to keep Walker while Matt and I went to the game. Wyatt has so much fun playing soccer and Matt and I have such a blast watching and getting a great laugh out of the little guys playing. The coaches didn't keep score, but. . . I'm pretty sure our guys got beat. Oh well, they sure had fun!

After soccer, Wyatt and I rushed back to the house and changed clothes before hopping in the car with Grammie to drive to Clarksville, pick up Grand and head to cousin Anna's 5th birthday party. Darn it if the weather didn't cooperate. The party was scheduled on a farm where we were all hoping to go on a hayride, ride a pony, ride the tractor pull train and have an easter egg hunt. Oh well, we did get to see some piggies, go on an adventurous hayride in the rain (thunder & lightning), and play some indoor games.

Wyatt did get to hold a week old baby goat. He was quite proud.

And he did get to sit on a pony which he was also quite excited about.

It was fun despite the weather and Wyatt was completely worn out. Anna is 2 months and 1 day older than Wyatt, so each year after her party we get to planning Wyatt's. It's hard to believe we are coming up on the big 5!!! Wow!

We gearing up for heading back to the normal routine at our house. Time is flying by as March is coming to a close. April weather is upon us and we are predicted to have showers and cold temps all week. Spring, please come back!! We want to play outside!!! Hoping everyone has a great week!!
