Christmas 2012

Our Christmas was a fun and magical time this year.  We are so blessed to share the season with our family.  Here are a BUNCH of pictures from our Christmas season.
Wyatt made these as part of the craft station I did for his Kindergarten class.
The weekend before Christmas Wyatt and Walker went to spend the night with Grammie and Papa.  During their visit they each made a great gingerbread house.  It is a fun tradition Grammie and Papa have been doing with them.

We had fun finding our Elf on the Shelf, Scout, each morning.  The boys really got into his magic this year.  This is Scout perched on the mantle on his last day.
To spread out all the fun and gifts, we let the boys begin opening a few presents from Matt's side of the family on Christmas Eve during the day.  It was great because they then spent the day playing with their new toys.

Christmas Eve morning Matt tried the cinnamon and sugar donut recipe I found on Pinterest.  Can you so DELICIOUS!!
Christmas Eve we continued in our family tradition of going to my parent's house for a yummy dinner and present time.  This year my dad's  mom, Granny, was with us which was a great treat.  She really enjoyed watching the boys play and interact.

gotta love a good thank you hug

Love this pic of Papa.  The boys got him some flying slingshots that make noise as every boy needs a toy at Christmas.  They had a blast flying them around the living room.
Matt carrying out all the cute cute baby girl items I received for Christmas.  He's getting ready for a world of pink.

We came home after a busy night and had to put together the crane the boys got.  It is one awesome toy that will haul and move Legos around.  It is definitely a hit at our house.
To keep the boys from sneaking downstairs to see if Santa had come, I taped off the top of the stairs.  However, this did not keep Wyatt from sliding down the stairs on his belly to take a peek.  He proudly bounced into our room Christmas morning to announce Santa had come and all that he had brought.  Guess I'm going to have to come up with a new trick next year.

Santa brought some big stuff this year.
An awesomely large clubhouse for the boys and a basketball goal.

Wyatt checking out his new remote control helicopter.

Wyatt was VERY into opening presents and loved everything he opened.
One silly face from the Walkman excited about his Leap Pad 2.

After our morning fun, we headed down to Grand's house to spend time with family.

And now, we have to knock out some thank you notes to express our gratitude for the thoughtful gifts we received and the time we spent together.
Our 2012 has been busy, busy and time just flies by these days.  We have continued to enjoy watching our children grow up and mature even if it's happening all too quickly.  We are excited about the upcoming year and the continued growth of our boys as well as the addition of our sweet baby girl.  We pray everyone has a safe and happy New Year's and is blessed in the coming year.
Happy New Year's!!
